Beetroot keeps well in the refrigerator for quite long periods It reaches maturity in 9 weeks and is adaptable to all climatic zones. Soak seeds for 4 hrs before planting for best results. Plant 15mm deep, 5-10cm apart in rows 25-30cm apart Sow Sept-Apr cool areas, July to April in Temperate areas and most of the year in Subtropical and Tropical areas. Beetroot seed germinates very well in warm climates if kept dry in the refrigerator for 10 days prior to planting.
