This is a popular, medium sized savoy-style cabbage with 20 cm heads weighing 2.25 Kg.. It has grey green tightly wrapped crinkly leaves. It is an excellent variety for eating raw in coleslaws and salads and is well respected as a cooking variety with a mild cabbage taste. Sow in late summer for winter harvest or autumn for spring harvest. It will mature 88-95 days from transplant. Sow August-March in cool and Temperate areas and Feb-Nov in Subtropical and Tropical areas. Seed is best refrigerated for 10 days prior to planting out when in hot areas. Cabbages are slow maturing when very young and are best planted indoors in trays so that they can be transplanted out when they are large enought to combat weeds, slugs and snails. Plant 50-60cm apart in rows 1m apart Cabbages like alkaline soil and rich nutrient loads so keep well limed, manured and watered. QTY 1.0 grams Approx. 250 Seeds
